Montevallo M.A.D.E. Receives Donation from Alabama Power Foundation

On Friday, Jan. 24, the University of Montevallo accepted a donation from the Alabama Power Foundation for the Montevallo M.A.D.E. program.

The M.A.D.E. (Minorities Achieving Dreams of Excellence) peer mentoring program serves first-year, minority students enrolled at UM. It is designed to assist participants in adjusting to the academic, social, personal and professional challenges experienced by first-year students.
