2025 Transfer Orientation
For transfer students beginning school in August 2025

All incoming transfer students must participate in an orientation session in order to register for their classes. Transfer Orientation sessions are held in June and July. Our 2025 Orientation dates will be posted in October, and registration for these dates will open in February 2025.

ORIENTATION STEP 1: Before Your Orientation Day

	SIGN UP FOR ORIENTATION	Select your preferred orientation date and register to attend!
	SET UP ACCOUNTS	Set up your UM Email and Banner Self Service Accounts
	RESOURCES	Browse the resources available in our Orientation Canvas Course.

ORIENTATION STEP 2: On Your Orientation Day

	MEET YOUR ORIENTATION LEADERS	Meet your peers, and ask your Orientation Leaders questions.
	REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASSES	Register for your fall classes through Banner Self Service following your advising appointment.
	GET YOUR STUDENT ID MADE	Visit the Solution Center to take your ID photo, and pick your ID up at Orientation Check-Out.
