Staci Kolb, M.Ac., CPA

Mrs. Kolb is currently an Instructor of Accounting, teaching Principles of Accounting, Auditing I and II, and Business Professionalism. Professor Kolb began her career as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand’s Birmingham office, and later served as Lead Internal Auditor for Energen Corporation, a Birmingham-based publicly traded utility.

Mrs. Kolb received a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of ­­­­Science in Business Administration, Accountancy from Auburn University. She received her CPA license in 1992, subsequently and earned an international Honorable Mention Award for her performance on the Certified Internal Auditor exam. Professor Kolb currently serves on the Higher Education Committee for the Alabama Society of CPAs and as the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair for SafeHouse of Shelby County.
