The Falcon Success Center aspires to support every University of Montevallo student as they achieve academic and personal success at UM and beyond.

Now offering Student Success Coaching!

Click here to set up a meeting with the FSC’s Student Success Coach, Elisabeth Ownbey.  During the initial meeting, Elisabeth will provide an assessment of your academic needs and can help you create an academic plan. You can discuss your specific needs, such as:

• Study Skills/Habits
• Test-Taking Skills
• Note-Taking Skills
• Time Management Skills

Mission

The Falcon Success Center (FSC) aims to improve the academic and liberal arts experience of our students and increase the University’s retention, progression, and graduation rates by offering a wide range of initiatives that focus on systems of support as well as identifying and addressing barriers to student success.

The FSC is also here to provide guidance for students as they begin to navigate their way through their college experience, leading them to the most helpful resources on campus.
